About the Workshop: In this 2-hour immersive experience, we delve into self-massage and myofascial release techniques aimed at nurturing your nervous system and fostering personal empowerment.

What to Expect:

  • Introductions: Get to know Rebekah & Hannah and share your motivations for joining.

  • Ice Breakers: Engage in short activities to foster a comfortable environment.

  • Intuitive Movement: Explore expressive movement to release stagnant energy.

  • Brief Theory: Learn about fascia, the vagus nerve, and key acupressure points.

  • Stretch Sequence: Warm up your body and check in with yourself.

  • Practical Work: Work sequentially through key areas of the body, with check-ins to monitor progress.

  • Vagus Nerve Activation: Experience a short activation exercise.

  • Guided Meditation: Relax and rejuvenate with a guided meditation led by Hannah, accompanied by intuitive touch from Rebekah (with consent).

  • Tea & Biscuits: Wind down, ask questions, and share your experiences over refreshments.

Rebekah (@_moonawakening) is a compassionate massage therapist, specialising in Advanced Clinical, Deep Tissue, Remedial, and Postnatal techniques. With a background in education, she brings a nurturing touch to her practice. The challenges of 2020 spurred her commitment to massage therapy, igniting her own healing journey. Rebekah believes in a holistic approach to well-being, tailoring each session for a personalized experience. Whether seeking relief from discomfort or relaxation, her warm approach ensures a soothing experience to unwind, destress, and find relief from tension.

Hannah, with nearly 6 years of therapy experience, holds a Level 4 diploma in massage therapy from Melbourne, Australia. She's honed her unique style through practice alongside Thai, Balinese, and Shiatsu practitioners, incorporating techniques like fire-cupping for over 4 years. With a background in mental health and ongoing studies in Psychology and Neuroscience, she's passionate about the transformative power of therapeutic touch and intuitive movement. Recently, Hannah completed a Maya Abdominal Massage course in Guatemala, focusing on releasing stored trauma for improved health. Specialising in pregnancy massage and grief support, her treatments are deeply nurturing.
